On March 5, 2025, the price of polyester bottle chips in the China market remained stable at RMB 6,150/MT. The crude oil and raw materials continued to oscillate weakly. Polyester bottle chip factories maintained stable quotations, and the market center remained in a stalemate. For March shipments, offers were in the range of RMB 6,140-6,250/MT, with some local areas slightly higher at RMB 6,300/MT or futures contract 2505 at a discount of RMB 15-20. Bids were at RMB 6,120-6,170/MT. For April shipments, offers were at RMB 6,150-6,200/MT or futures contract discounts to premiums of up to RMB 30, with bids at RMB 6,140/MT.
