2. Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) Product Overview
Purified Terephthalic Acid (Purified Terephthalic Acid, abbreviated as PTA), chemical formula C₈H₆O₄, CAS No. 100-21-0, appears as a white crystalline powder at room temperature, with purity typically ≥99%. It is the core monomer for polyester (PET) production.
Key Product Features:
- High Purity & Stability: Refined through advanced oxidation and purification processes, with extremely low impurity levels. Batch traceability ensures product parameter fluctuations remain below 2% (industry average: 5%), guaranteeing stable downstream polyester quality.
- Uniform Particle Size & Good Flowability: Suitable for large-scale continuous production, minimizing equipment clogging and downtime risks.
- Concentrated Applications & Broad Downstream Use:
