Polyester Bottle Flake Prices in China Decline on February 21

Polyester bottle flake prices in China fell by 10 to 6,310 RMB/MT. The decline was driven by a narrow downward movement in raw material prices. Most polyester bottle flake factories maintained stable quotations, with a few lowering prices by 20 RMB. The market trend was generally weak and consolidating. Offers for February shipments were quoted at 6,290-6,330 RMB/MT or at a discount of 50 RMB to the 2503 contract, with some local areas slightly higher at 6,350-6,360 RMB/MT. Bids were in the range of 6,270-6,290 RMB/MT. Offers for March shipments were quoted at 6,320-6,400 RMB/MT or at a discount of 10 RMB to the 2503 contract, with bids at 6,300 RMB/MT. (Unit: RMB/MT)
